We choose Dr. Judson Brewer as our lead expert for habit change. Besides enjoying his sense of humor, his methods are based on decades of research and real world application integrating mindfulness with the neuroscience of reward based learning for habit formation - a foundational framework for living our day to day lives.

 

Brewer's work effectively embodies the tiny habits approach while leading to positive life changes in numerous aspects of life through more mindful decision making.  Example: Many people using Brewer's methods to reduce anxiety have reported weight loss; others focussed on smoking cessation have reported improvements in emotional regulation and decreased anxiety.

Depending on your needs, you may find these methods are sufficient (or even unecessary when following Brewer's fundamentals).
